Food & drink at the castle tavern

The bright interior spaces of our self-service tavern offer seating for 150 people, while the spacious guest garden seats 300 people. Both outside and inside, guests enjoy a magnificent view of the hills of south-eastern Styria, with vistas extending as far as Slovenia, Hungary and Carinthia.

For entertainment of our little guests there is an big children's playground with a knight's castle for climbing, balancing and sliding.

A stage in the tavern garden offers enough space for live bands to perform at our events such as the Full Moon Night.

The tavern is also the exit point for the Leopold route, an excellent beginner and educational route that takes climbers over the volcanic rock.
