Please arrive early. Due to possible waiting times at the inclined lift, we recommend using the historic footpath. Parking is available at the visitor centre (castle lift valley station) and in the village of Riegersburg. Please allow for a longer walk to the ticket office.
A magical evening awaits you in the castle tavern’s outdoor dining area with witches’ goulash, pancakes baked over the campfire and live music (31 July: Frank und Frei | 28 August: Hausband) under the full moon. In addition, blacksmithing demonstrations, exciting castle tours and an adventurous children’s programme bring the castle grounds to life.
